I think this might be the card that is most directly from my soul! Anyone who has been lucky enough to become a parent also knows how instantly terrifying and overwhelming it can be. For me, this meant an even more overwhelming feeling of appreciation for my parents. My mum is a fantastic human being and an even better mum and I wrote this with her in mind specifically, but I’m so glad that it resonates with so many others.

The card reads:

“Mum, now I’m all grown up and a parent myself, I feel that I have gained a real insight into the joys of parenthood. It’s only now that I feel able to say these words from the bottom of my heart-

save me! Help! Oh my God, this is utterly exhausting. You’re amazing. Teach me everything.”
