I’m a big fan of Frozen, but despite some redemption in the sequel (no spoilers) Elsa’s mum and dad were still pretty rubbish at parenting. Their response to her having scary, uncontrollable emotions was to pop some gloves on and lock her in a room. Dudes. Come on. That’s not cool.

I designed this card as one that could be given by a friend to another who is doubting their parenting skills- perhaps they’re doing it alone or have children with complex needs that make things extra challenging. Motherhood is hard and we need to acknowledge it and support people. At least we can remind them that they are DEFINITELY doing it better than the king and queen of Arendelle.
