Dearest pals,

I’m about to engage in something that I believe the kids are calling REAL TALK. The product side of my business isn’t nearly as buoyant as I would like and I can’t afford to take too many risks getting things made in the way that I might have in the past.

I’ll leave the analysis for another time- probably 3 in the morning… is it me? Am I bad at this? Can I still blame Brexit? How about Boris? Definitely the cost of living calamity has had an impact on everything and everyone. All my materials are more expensive, postage prices seem to increase hourly and people just aren’t buying like they used to. Me included.

Sooooo, with that in mind, I need to stick to small releases, quality items (naturally) and only the things that people really want- not just what I fancy making!
