Following on from the success of the original Natter Matters game, I bring you Natter Matters- revenge of the killer question (that’s what I wanted to call it!)

Natter Matters (More Than Ever) In each pack there are:

• Questions drawn from the classic ethical, moral and philosophical dilemmas which have faced us for centuries;

• Questions which consider matters of identity, celebrity and the self;

• Questions that may be sensitive, but need to be talked about!

All based on extensive research including time spent in youth groups and a large comprehensive community college, getting feedback from actual proper young people.

"Are these going to be a real thing? Because I actually need them" - 14 year old in one session

"I can't believe we're allowed to talk about this!" - 11 year old

I have asked trusted sources with lived experience of ableism, racism, homophobia, sexism and ageism to help me craft the wording of the questions. I'm aiming to make this pack as inclusive as possible.

I still want it to feel fun and interesting to play. With 52 questions, you could aim for one a week and change the way you chat over the course of a whole year!

What does it look like?

52 question cards, just like the original. However, unlike the first pack, Natter Matters (More Than Ever) is colour coded and graded within the colours.

Because this packs delves deeper into some really thorny questions, I have included a comprehensive rationale and guide in the digital resources.

I've also included a quick reference 'rules' card which ensures EVERYONE understands:

• The importance of body language when listening to others views;

• That all answers will be treated with respect;

• That deciding not to answer is always fine;

• That what is shared won't be repeated without prior consent and

• That feeling unsure, giggly, uncomfortable is ok!

Talking about BIG stuff takes practice and that's exactly what these cards are designed to encourage.
