Let’s talk!

Natter Matters is a card game for children aged 5+, for 2 or more players. It contains:

• 52 open questions with no wrong answers. These are based on months of research (and years of teaching and parenting experience) and are a mixture of big, philosophical, moral, social questions and more lighthearted ice breakers.

• Basic instructions

• The arrow card to point to the speaker and make sure everyone else knows who should be talking (and who should be listening!)

• A QR code which takes you to a secret, password protected page on this website. There you’ll find a PDF version of the game, some extra files particularly suited for use in groups and schools, game ideas and a help sheet.

They say talk is cheap, and I know this isn’t what is meant by that but I agree!. The lack of talk- no discussion, debate, empathising, listening, understanding- that is truly costly and we must find ways to encourage and nurture children’s ability to express themselves.
